As a way of reducing or eliminating costly downtime, B & H offers customized Preventative Maintenance Service Programs (PMSP) to its customers. The objective of PMSPs is to proactively maintain labelers in order to prevent downtime.
PMSPs support the operating philosophy that keeping the line running is less expensive in the long run than running the line until it breaks, and then fixing it.
In addition to reducing downtime, B & H Preventative Maintenance Service Programs provide additional benefits including:
- Guaranteed availability of a field service engineer on scheduled service dates.
- Discounted service rates versus On Demand & Emergency Service rates.
- Lower travel expenses because visits are planned and scheduled which means plane tickets can be purchased in advance versus at the last minute.
- Increased training opportunities for labeler operators and maintenance personnel which also contributes to less downtime and higher productivity.
Every B & H PMSP is designed to address each customer's needs and objectives. Once the customer's objectives are identified, B & H personnel will conduct an audit and assessment of the installed labelers. This audit will serve as the foundation for the formal PMSP quotation and proposal.
