What is the difference between a champion and a trained operator or maintenance technician?

Champions take pride in making their B & H labelers the best performing component in the production line.

Champions take ownership of the labelers.

Champions want to know everything they can about their B & H labelers. This means both operating it and maintaining it. If something impacts speed, operating efficiency, labelinq quality or changeover time, they want to know about it. They literally want to know everything a B & H Field Service Engineer knows.

Champions share their expertise with everyone that touches the labelers, and they know the importance of training.

Champions have high standards, and "OK" just isn't good enough.

Champions know that routine and preventative maintenance prevents downtime, and that run-it-until-it-breaks, and then fix it is an expensive strategy.

So how do you create your own labeling champions?

First, start with one or more employees that have the desire, aptitude and horsepower to master the operation and maintenance of your labelers.

Next, work with B & H to build a customized Champion training and coaching program for the future champions. B & H Champion programs are customized 12 to 24 month training and coaching processes that include classroom and hands-on training, and real time production trouble shooting and problem resolution techniques. Throughout the training process, future champions also have 24 / 7 telephone support from their trainers and coaches.

Champion training covers machine operation, machine trouble shooting and machine maintenance, and future Champions are tested and evaluated throughout the process to confirm their progress. If desired, B & H will also work with customers to develop customized testing and certification processes.
