Career Opportunity : Eastern Regional Sales Manager
This is a Sales & Marketing position.
Position Description
The Eastern Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all direct sales and account management functions in the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada. The territory is generally defined as everything east of the Mississippi River.
B & H Regional Sales Managers are responsible for selling labelers, parts and service in their assigned territories. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
The Eastern Regional Sales Manager must be located near a major airline hub airport within the territory.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Developing and executing annual territory sales plan and supporting 30 and 90 day sales plans.
- Identifying, prioritizing and penetrating potential accounts, and managing existing accounts.
- Developing, updating and submitting sales forecasts for the assigned territory on regular basis.
- Achieving or exceeding sales forecasts for units, parts, and service.
- Using B & H's value proposition based sales approach and the B & H Total Financial Impact Model and process in everyday sales approach.
- Writing and distributing trip reports for all sales calls in timely fashion.
- Documenting all contacts, market data and sales call activities in B & H's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in a timely fashion.
Qualifications
B.A or B.S. required.
A minimum of six years direct sales experience, with at least three years of experience selling products or services to beverage, food and / or household product manufacturers is required.
Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned region as well as to California for sales meetings and to other cities for trade shows.
Experience selling capital equipment is preferred.
Experience in labeling or packaging industries is desirable.
Strong oral and written communication skills and strong listening skills are required.
Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills are required.
